Summiting Mount Rinjani is an exhilarating adventure!

Here’s what you need to know for a successful summit climb:

Preparation:

Fitness: Ensure you’re physically fit. The summit climb is demanding, with steep ascents and high altitude.
Gear: Pack essentials like sturdy hiking boots, warm clothing (it gets cold at the summit), a headlamp, and a trekking pole.
Permits: Obtain the necessary permits from us as Trekking Organizer from the Rinjani National Park office.

Route Options:

Sembalun Route: Longer but less steep. Starts from Sembalun Lawang village.
Senaru Route: Shorter but steeper. Begins from Senaru village.

Summit Climb:

Day 1: Trek to the crater rim (Pelawangan Senaru or Pelawangan Sembalun) and camp there.
Day 2: (Summit Day): Wake up around 2 AM. The climb to the summit takes about 3-4 hours. It’s challenging but rewarding!
Views: At the summit, you’ll witness breathtaking sunrise views over Lombok and neighboring islands.

Safety Tips:

Go Slow: Pace yourself to avoid altitude sickness.
Stay Hydrated: Bring enough water.

Follow Guides:

Listen to your trekking guide they know the terrain well.
Remember, reaching the summit is an achievement, but safety comes first.
