Waterfalls Benang Stokel and Benang Kelambu Lombok
Two waterfalls are located in the village of Aik Berik
District Batu Kliang North, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. In addition to a pair of these because of the waterfall is located adjacent to each other, the four aforementioned waterfall at its source Lake Segara Anak. on Mount Rinjani.
The difference of the two pairs of this waterfall is the access road to the tourist.
In contrast to the access road to the waterfall Sindang Gila and waterfalls Tiu Kelep already paved smooth and reached by public transportation, the access road leading to the waterfall, Benang Stokel Waterfall and Benang Kelambu Waterfall not too smooth.
The street is not very wide, car-carrying vehicle was dominated by the results of the Earth from “Kawasan Hutan Kemasyarakatan (HKM)” we mean “The Civic Forest” around the site of the waterfall. But the scenery along the way is very indulgent eye. The paddy harvest as the giant tapestry ready. The farmers are planting rice Schoolhouse-brewers. Young children playing in the yard of the House. Not only that, the cattle like cows and buffaloes freely in search of food comfortably
Location of Waterfalls Benang Stokel
A closer entrance ticket sales counters of the tourism objects. Just walk about 15 minutes, the tourists are treated to scenic waterfalls that are shaped like Stokel (roll of yarn). Waterfall Benang Kelambu located above the Waterfall Benang Stokel, it takes about 30 minutes walk down a path that is wide enough.
Landscape in the Benang Kelambu Waterfall
Is more beautiful and mesmerizing. As the name implies, gust waterfalls form such as nets or curtains. Some people believe that the water around the waterfall Benang Kelambu can cure diseases.
Waterfall tourism potential, unfortunately it is not balanced with adequate facilities. Toilets around the sights there are mostly less manicured. Lack of awareness of tourists to keep clean, and also became a separate issue. It would be wonderful if the community and local Government jointly develop potential regions. The expectation, in addition to keeping nature also giving welfare to the people around.
